There's a lot of things i would like to see added to SoT, but just throwing a note in the hat like many people here do.
The Sea of Thieves has been populated for a long time now, and the outside world has been trying to claim it repeatedly without much success. The new Sovereign faction is pretty suspect, but have yet to reveal their true intentions.
It's time we get a proper invasion from a gouverning body outside SoT. They send a lumbering Man o' War with a host of supporting Brigs, filled with an army of AI soldiers from whatever gouvernment found a way to pierce through the shroud and make it into the SoT. They bring many supplies to build their own outposts on islands, and rows of chests filled with gold to pay wages for all the sailors that are set to stay here for the coming years, building Nova Lisboa or Neu Hamburg or what have you.
This event starts in a random spot on the edge of the map, and once approaching it you can see the giant shape coming out of the mist. It will require some good movement to apply pressure to the Man o' War without letting its broadside unload on you, because by the trident of Poseidon, it will make swiss cheese out of your ship. Meanwhile the supporting Brigs are circling you trying to prevent you from getting a good angle yourself.
Killing any crew will send them to the Ferry of the Damned, same as all pirates. If you go there yourself, you will be able to see them there looking baffled as to where they are. Then they will be sent back to their ships until they sink.
