It doesn't make sense that the Grimy Bilge Rat Boots, Scurvy Bilge Rat Boots and the Bilge Rat Boots make sound. It's essentially just cloth or leather wrapped around the feet. It wouldn't sound like normal boots when jumping and moving around. I propose that these boots be adjusted to sound like you're barefoot.
I also think the Midnight Blade Boots should be adjusted too. The description for these boots even say, "tight-fitting boots guaranteed NOT to give you away with unwanted squeaking".

Totally agree for the bilge rat version. But disagree to the black boots, they're not bare foot.
These are the wraps I'm referring to in my original post.
The Midnight Blades Boots have a ninja theme to them and that's why I think the sound should be adjusted. The description even hints at the boots being silent.

If nothing has changed, it's only you (and maybe your crew) that hears different sounds. For all the other players all footsteps has same sounds (equal playing field).
You may have misunderstood my post. The wraps sound like heavy boots when you jump and walk around. I'm asking for them to sound like you're barefoot. A lot of players don't wear boots in this game, because of the advantage you get from it. When you're barefoot, your character doesn't make a sound when you jump and move around. It has to do with being stealthy. I'm just asking for these particular boots to have the same stealthy qualities as being barefoot.
