I have raised a support ticket but just wanted to gauge how common this is. Since latest patch ive had several instances, when crewmate holding loot and you harpoon them. Rather than grabbing loot or crewmate, it causes them to drop the loot where they're standing

It's not always so simple during periods of intense action. A better idea, fix the harpoons.
@mintharp184509 Not sure I follow. Is the idea that if you harpoon loot and drop it on the ship without touching it, you can then go raise emissary and touch all the onboard loot and get emissary grade? If so, once the guy in the water touches it that “trick” is already null and void.
Anyhow, seen this myself, just chalked it up to being another Stupid Harpoon Trick.
@mintharp184509 ah ok I have seen people using that, didn't realise it was an intentional feature brought in. Weird though because in this scenario a player has already picked up the loot so there's no avoiding that part of the rep gain? Have you seen it officially confirmed it's intentional? Don't remember seeing it in patch notes
