Traditionally when I set sail, I have my audio coming through my headphones. However, as I was getting ready to set sail on the latest Adventure, I received a phone call, and during the call, I unplugged my headset from my Xbox controller so the audio still feeding through wouldn't be picked up by my phone. When I came back to the game after, I plugged it back in, but got no sound, music, or really any audio of any kind. I checked the headset volume, and the mute button. It wasn't until I opened the Xbox guide to check the console settings that I realized that the game was at fault - I could still hear the Xbox Guide's menu sound effects, but nothing from the game itself.
I restarted my game to fix the issue, which worked, but I'm concerned about such a bug happening at all. I lost an entire game's worth of audio just for unplugging my headset?
That's not good...
