Since I got the game about a month ago, I noticed that the island banners were very inconsistently appearing. They would appear once per playthrough, and never again. Eventually once my crewmate and I started selling our loot, I noticed I couldn't see what we sold and how much reputation I got. This glitch is very annoying and with captaincy I can't see people's ship's names. Please let me know if you have a solution. Edit: After some research I can safely say it is not lag or any other ping issue, since I have had 10 hour sessions with nothing coming from selling or island/ship banners.
Does anyone know why my island banners are disappearing every time I play?
I have slims set up too.
Honestly? I don't pay much attention and they're fairly unintrusive.I would like to apply that to milestones lol.
@thefrostycowman Under keyboard/mouse in the settings, you can scroll all the way down to the HUD section and there are keybinds for Toggle HUD, Toggle Replace Gamertags, and Toggle Crew/Other Nameplates. Might want to check if those keys are bound and if they are bound to a key you're using for something else.
The other hud options are in video, graphics and HUD settings I think.
@d3adst1ck I didn't have anything bound, but I talked to my friends about it and the only other one who has the game on steam has the same issue
@d3adst1ck I actually managed to fix the issue, but I have no clue how. I just closed the game one day and now it's fixed
