Cross-Platform PVP Aim Rotational speed, Game Balance

  • For the Longest-time the Meta has been PC Kill Xbox without battering an eyelid
I think it's time Xbox are allowed to get some payback and have playingfield off capabilities unified.

I for one want to see change as a Massive Sea of Thieves fun inspired to do twitch by Beardageddon.
Sea of thieves has seen many changes over the years, Few topics are as Important to the community as the adjustments to PVP hit reg Xbox aim assists etc

Let may state here I have had the pleasure of Being on the sea with you all world wide playing as ReaperGod on PC and playing Casually on Xbox
I Personally Love both, However, there are only massive disadvantages for playing on xbox and nothing to aid you in fighting back against PC.

    Major Xbox Con's
Aiming Rotation, PC currently can rotate 3800degrees in the time an xbox player does 360 degrees
(This is due to no limitations on pc aiming rotational speed)
This is like giving 1 playing a Rocket Launcher and the other a pistol, not a fair fight by all means

I believe there are 2 options in order to attempt a Cross-Platform Meta Rework.

1, Give Xbox a Crazy good Aim Bot and limit pc rotational speed to 1000degree or something, (Making the game crazy fun and pc players remain happy)
    or
2, Limit the aim Rotational speeds equally. (Therefore creating a much more even playingfield crossplatform)

As always, Looking forward to you'll feedback!

  • You know a lot of good SoT players play with a fairly low sense with some significantly lower than the highest sense available on Xbox.

The only thing to balance SoT is an aggressive aim assist which tbh would just have me quit the game if implemented.

Xbox players can choose out of PC servers due to the disadvantage and instead of trying to balance them why not leave the current setting.

Yes, Yes my friend whilst this is true. The majority are actually using much much higher dpi settings, or 2000x more working space to work the mouse with.

Your Lying @nitroxien Don't be so Serious, My friend. I'm not saying aim assist is the absolute best solution, I'm just saying where there is a disadvantage and suggesting that there is a couple off options to implementing good fixes that improve the equality off pvp.

Xbox players can "NOT" choose out of PC servers due to the disadvantage and instead of trying to balance them why not leave the current setting.
Lol, This is merely a preference and that makes these small indifferences be amplified 2 fold because people can not truly opt-out, leaving the majority feeling disadvantaged on xbox which leads to lowering the player retention rate on xbox as they can typically tend to find the game less enjoyable because off this clear dpi advantage

As always looking forward to your rebutle

  • @mintharp184509 Where not talking about hit reg, Everyone is in the same boat there, it's a game engine that runs sea of thieves and it's not perfect live with it

But Absolutely, no disagreements from me with the rest, head on the nail i say

  • If you don't like it there are xbox only servers.

It's not necessary to make the game experience worse for a significant proportion of the playerbase

A semi-common complaint I've seen from some veteran players is that Xbox-Only has made playing the game and getting unique interactions less possible and less easily because most of the Xbox players want to stay away from the tougher PC players that can swipe loot faster than they can grab cannonballs out of their barrels and the toxicity that can come from them as well.

I think people want to interact with more players and since PC players can't get onto Xbox Only Servers, even with a proper official Xbox Controller, it's a little bumming that a fair amount of people just aren't willing to interact with a larger portion of its community because of a couple of skilled bad apples and the disadvantage of crossplay performance.
