When the Twilight Hunter set originally started drops back in October, I was happy to be getting this nice blue black and gold variant of the Hunter set. These are the pieces we first got.
- Pretty nice! Not too long afterward, the clothing was revealed. Looking great in that blue, black, and gold to match the Twilight Hunter equipment.
- Then when the clothing actually appeared in game, there was an error in the assets and we got this instead:
- Clearly this black and red version does not match the equipment we received. It is obvious that there was an asset mixup and it was not intended for us to receive this version. However Rare insisted that the art was wrong, and that the incorrect version we got was actually what the intended all along. For whatever reason, they chose to go with that narrative instead of just fixing the assets and distributing the correct one.
I do not understand why they chose to handle the error in that way, but I hope that we do see the correct black, blue, and gold version of this clothing soon.
