Fireworks cost 20k?!

    What is going on with the prices for fireworks that are being sold by the merchant alliance? 20K for some fireworks? Are they made with pristine materials or something? These traders are more pirates than I am!

    Shouldn't they be worth a lot less, like perhaps no more than 10k? (The amount of gold in the game has really caused some serious inflation issues apparently)

    New technology is expensive... so not "inflation" technically speaking.

    You know if you put in a little effort...They're free if you find them 😉

    Rare wants really big fireworks displays (the kind requiring a fireworks box) to be used for special occasions, hence the price tag.

    It’s a good money sink. They don’t do anything except look cool, but cost a lot of money. You can also buy them over and over. They do it better than the purchasable supplies ever did.

    I honestly don't think the price would be so bad if you got a full crate of fireworks. The fact that you only get half a crate at that price tag feels like we need more gold and glory weekends! Those cast aways and foul bounties ain't going to buy me a fancy chicken firework.

    they don't seem too hard to find. I've found a few crates of them pretty easily

    20k seems fine to me

    currently the best sink in the game imo

    I've never spent any gold on fireworks and I've managed to put on a pretty impressive display every day this season.

    It's a fantastic gold sink that doesn't give a crew any real advantage or promote server hopping.

    I think the price is appropriate. I dont think the fireworks would keep their charm if everyone used them all the time.

    anecdotal and rng but I wanted to throw this out there in case it helps someone

    shipwrecks have been a good source for firework boxes in my sessions. Might help people save some coin by checking them

    Personally, I just hope they reduce the spawn rate of these after this introductory Season. I end up with an insane amount of these every session so far since their introduction.

    But I would like to see Barrel spawns recalibrated in general.

    I disagree with making them more rare

    they finally added something that has minimal interference with combat and doesn't feed into server hopping and lack of contribution to a server

    I'd like to see these stay pretty easy to find as there are no significant consequences for them and they are fun for most of the pirates

    Anyone know what fireworks you need for the 5 fireworks set off for the "Night-Time Spectacular" commendation? My friend and i set a lot of fireworks off at night, and got no updated commendation. Maybe a certain type?

    I didn't have an issue with mine but some research seems to suggest it may be a bit buggy and possibly requiring a couple extra to pop

    someone on true achievements made the suggestion of using a galleon for it and having the cannons preloaded which I think would be a good idea to try for anyone having issues popping it

    People by now tend to have a lot of gold to throw away…

    Besides. You can find these fireworks for free washed up or on shipwrecks.
