I can't say whether or not you can post here if you own the game or not but I think locking the steam forums to users who actually own the game will help weed the non helpful posts.
Having it an open forum whilst helpful in some ways is a draw back in others. Those who have refunded the game per say can flood the forums because they had a negative experience and shut down conversations. That or provide no meaningful feedback on the state of the game given they don't own it or no long have owned it for some time.
Its a small minor fix but would also help keep those that have been banned from the forum from making a new steam account and freely posting on a forum for a game they don't own and continue to post spam or gaslight people looking for civil discussions.
And a minor suggestion for the steam version. Mind putting in a report player function. I've looked for it and can't seem to find it. Perhaps it only shows up for players whom you've interacted with in the game or have gotten close to at one time in the session. I think the report feature would help greatly and be quicker rather than having to record, leave the session, submit a report and attach a video. That yes should also be done but if you happen to miss recording the toxicity, still being able to report a player after said action has passed would be nice. maybe reports automatically log all chat that has been typed in the last 10 minutes. Voice comms wouldn't be though obviously.
