Bring back items chat as default

  • Annoying to go on second page to say something related to your item in hands.

  • Yea, I'll admit that I actually preferred the original system as it pertained to Pirate Chat. I doubt we'll see it reverted, but I wouldn't complain at all if it was.

  • @nic727 I got used to it by now, so I don't care if brought back or not...it's like this for a while now...why do you suggest that now?

  • There is a way to modify your controller settings to simulate how the chat wheel used to be, but while it's close, it's still not perfect.

  • What in the Pirate Lord's beard are you guys talking about? o_0

Long time ago, when holding a chest for example, you had those chat options by default instead of going on a second page. It was much faster to access and use while in combats.

Already did that long time ago.

  • How do i upvote this?

  • Surprised they didn’t revert back yet. Communication is so complicated now.

  • Should I make a new post? I know people hate bumping thread, but each time I play the game, I just feel useless because pirate chat is broken. When the game launched, it was more easier to communicate, since the chat wheel was ready for you to say what you wanted to say to others. Now you need to go on a second menu, but when in action, you don't have time to do that. Like raising anchor, using planks to repair ship, etc. When will it come back like at launch? What was the idea behind the change that make the chat useless?

  • Sorry but i like how it is right now.

I dont like inconsistency and i dont want to open an additional menu every time im holding something just to say "aye" or "no" or "i need help" in time sensitive situations.

Maybe they could give us both with an optional setting.

  • @nic727 pretty sure bumping old threads is against the code of conduct.
