Card games or something similar to kill off some time while sailing.

Yeah I back in the day always wanted some cards, liars dice etc. But if we look at it from a different perspective. What would the negative side be to adding this?
Sailing should be a cooperate endeavor. Especially on the bigger vessels. If half a crew is looking down on the deck while dealing cards, you are missing hands for either steering the ship, handling the sails or scouting the horizon for possible dangerous encounters and would be caught off guard much more than players are already somewhat complaining about at times on here.
If we then moved this to the tavern instead of on the ships, well, with servers having no more than 5 ships at most at a time, if players spawn in to sit at play card games within the tavern it would lead to even less population on the seas. If we are fair it is a pirate game and sure some of these card/dice games do fit as pirates did do this, at least from what is being shown in media today.
But I simply feel it would cause more issues than solving them unfortunately, although I do think it could be fun at times.Always important to look at these things from both sides.
Idk if a card game is coming into the game, but in Arena if you look at the tables on first floor by Demarco there’s dice and if you look at the images on the dice it’s the same as the SOT dice game that you can buy in the SOT store. https://www.seaofthieves.com/news/sea-of-thieves-r-p-g
Soooooo perhaps a Dice game is coming. I don’t have a pic of the dice in game. But look at the tables by Demarco in Arena and you’ll see the dice.
