Hi guys, I too am experiencing stuttering which is giving me a right headache. It's annoying, because my friend also plays on series x and has no issues.
I had a 43" Samsung, which didn't support hdmi 2.1, and as well as the stuttering, I had no voice comms on the series x on this tv whereas the exact same settings on the xb-one, everything is fine (except the loading speed 😂)I have bought a new tv, which ticks all the boxes on the x series video settings, I now have voice comms with the series x, it runs beautifully in hdr/4k 120hz on a 55" LG Nanocell, but I still get the stuttering , most noticebly when I'm on the ship walking slowly around the mast. I've tried all the hdr settings on & off, various frame rates, and it still always there... very annoying, as it runs perfectly on the older xb one 😐
First let me start off by saying how much I love Rare, how much I love Sea of Thieves, how much I love Xbox, and how much I love my Series X, loved my One X before it, and Xbox One before that.
Anyway now that I’ve gotten that out of the way. The screen tearing in this game is absolutely atrocious. They at Rare need to address it and address it ASAP. I mean come on to even offer a 120FPS mode when there is literal tearing at 60FPS ain’t cool.
No one wants to play the game with tearing. Yet here we are months since the X/S upgrade and the tearing persists. So what they need to do is enable V-Sync and be done with it. Or enable dynamic resolution. Because the game can’t go on like this.
Rare please for the love of god fix it. You know, I know, and everyone else who plays this game knows that you know it’s tearing on next generation X/S consoles. Do not ignore it and do not ignore us that’s all I ask.
