Debug Mode (Seperate game world)

  • Here is a cool idea and something I think we all would mess around with at some point.

    It's essentially a progression less server enjoyed either online or offline.

    Gathering loot and gold etc is pointless as it's not designed for that and WILL NOT carry over.
    It's primarily used for practice.

    Want to spawn 25 megs and a skeleton fleet and see how long you live? Go for it!

    Want to go toe to toe with 4 Krackens and see how you fare? Be my guest!

    None of the progression transfers into the main game except the valuable experience you will gain pushing yourself out your comfort zone in some really cool and dangerous situations that you spawn in yourself.

  • this is your opinion, but this would take up so much time of devs and even after implementing triple their workload making sure there are no bugs and it is implemented correctly. I would rather have a new event, every month for 6 months than that one game mode. It would add nothing to the core game except increase storage space, and workload required for devs. People want a small new region, that hasn't happened and most likely won't, and people out here wanting a whole new game? wow that's a wild thought.

  • They probably can't create an offline version, either because it flat out won't run on most of the XBox SKUs and older PCs or they do not have licensing to distribute technology used in the server application, so it would have to be online.

    They won't give users the ability to potentially DOS servers by overusing resources doing crazy things like spawning 25 megalodons so I think this idea has a very slim chance of happening.
