I’m heavily biased because I missed out on the gorgeous Ancestral Ship Set (Ori) and desperately want it, but I think it’d be a good compromise to put it and something like the Spartan Ship Set (Halo) in the Pirate Emporium as an alternative for people who missed out on getting them before. Or maybe make a slight variation of them like with the Bear and Bird and Perfect Dark ship sets. It just seems silly that franchises like State of Decay can be featured on the Emporium but Ori and Halo are limited to timed exclusive cosmetics.
Put Time-Limited Ship Sets in the Pirate Emporium
I wish it was more like how they did the battletoads ship and tie it into acheivements and make it so people who put in the effort can get the base set for free and if they want to buy the 'Premium' Sails or Figurehead then it's there. It would definitley make me want to buy those instead of spending like £35 for a ship. Noway
I have 100% gamerscore on both banjo 1 + 2 & conker ..If that made me able to get the banjo/conker ship then that would be so great. As a major fan of those..I am not going to spend the prices they put on the emporium ships!
I'm sure they'll do the Halo ship once the game releases, they keep re-releasing everything nowadays.
I think it would be nice if there was a variation of the ship.

The "time exclusive" cosmetic version, for completing the in-game event or whatever it is that you have to do to earn it. This would be like the "collectors version".

The "Emporium" cosmetic version, a slightly different version of the time exclusive one.
Because, adding a cosmetic that requires you to grind and put time and effort to get, into the emporium feels like it diminishes the "impact" (if you will) of having an exclusive item.
In short, adding the same cosmetic in emporium a little while later, removes the incentive to participate in the event for people like myself, who dont mind throwing a couple bucks at an ancient coin pack.

@jesturd giveaway sets like the ori set or spartan set may come back around. Parts of the spartan set have been offered 3 or 2 times.
Time limited sets from events should remain thag way.
God, I hate that time-gated availability nonsense. It's based on the the idea that having something that other people don't makes you special somehow.
Couldn't care less about what cosmetics you have. I only care about what cosmetics I have.
Everything should be available via either achievement or purchase (whether in-game or through the emproium).
