I'd love to get back into this game, but it has been dead to me ever since they released South American servers, "hurrah, now I can play by myself on a dead server with 30 ping, instead of with everyone else and 90 ping".
is there any file edit or something I can do to force SoT to connect to the US servers again? I literally downloaded the game last night again and spent 4 hours sailing around, checking out the new islands and items and didn't see a single soul, nor did anyone get dropped into my open sloop.
