I would like to file a request. Putting names on ships, the place for that already exists in galleons, would be epic and a lot of fun, not only sailing with colors but with strong and epic names!

I really love this idea, it gives us players the opportunity to make the boat "ours" so to speak. But as the comment above stated, there are far too many immature people who will use this to name their ships incredibly inappropriate things. We could easily argue "yeah but certain words can be censored" but people always find ways around it, such as spacing out each word so it doesn't get censored and such.

@galactic-geek Pets are a prime example of why we shouldn't be able to name our ships. Certain people can't be trusted with that type of content. Despite this being a "teen" game, there's still loads of kids that play it who are incredibly impressionable so we should do our best as a community to keep the game clean as possible.

I don't think the majority of the community is, immature for that, a good part of those who play for pleasure and fun, to feel in fact pirates, would like that too.
I wouldn't want to limit a game to the worst part of the community!
That they place a limitation of 4/4 votes for the name. Or even do it for the old coins, that would reduce the free troll
Unfortunately I have to agree with you all. I believe I have a way of limiting or censoring, I suggested a few above. But I still want to wait for a way to name my ship.

@galactic-geek I named my Twitch Prime monkey Dickens Lickens. Nothing to see here. He's just a playful little monkey! The rest of my animals have very normal names, I assure you. Oscar, Amber, Blueberry, Grease, etc.
