It would be nice to get a few seconds heads up before a server merge happens.
Like a little server message pops up and counts down from like 30 seconds or so.
The main reason is due to the server merging bugs. Of course if they fix the bugs first then it wont be needed.
I had a ton of loot in a rowboat which i stole off somebody and i was hauling towards an outpost.
Merged as i was sailing, doing crazy speed too in a brigantine when the i discovered i couldnt interact with the ropes. I anchored last minute but also crashed.
To make it worse, all the loot in the rowboat was now invisible so i had it took me much longer to cash in.
If there was another ship nearby i would of been destroyed because i couldnt interact with the wheel or sails.
Had to kill my pirate and load back in.
If i had a coundown i could of perhaps slowed down earlier and prepared myself.
