    My friends and I were watching videos about how to get some of those ancient skeletons. However, at the end of the video, he says that you can get ancient coins by selling your soul to the ferryman.

    I don’t think so. The video sounded legitimate. He called it “an opportunity of a lifetime”
    I checked to the comments to see if he explained it at all. Someone said they did it and that it was a great deal

    It's purely random. That said, the more you play, the more likely you are to encounter 1 eventually. So far, I have seen 2 - and my pirate's Soul is still intact.

    Yeah I don’t know. I’m going to try and see tomorrow. If it doesn’t work then it looks like I’m going to have to grind a little.

    I got my first ancient skeleton about 2 weeks ago and then a few days after another one. This Sunday, I got two in the same day! I have no idea about the mechanics of one spawning but I thank the ancients for their tribute.
    Also, I am half ginger so i might have sold half my soul to the ferryman :D

    @mij0-phoenix Its a joke but just think if this is how prestige worked in the game.

    You level up your pirate and gain reputation. then you can sell your soul to the Ferry man and it deletes your pirate and you get a reward depending on how much work went into the last pirate

    I am really late but if u still don't know, it looks like when u sell your soul u can't be revived anymore by your crewmates, u die instantaneously.
