Arena Feedback. Pt.2

  • BUGS

Invincibility has been in the game for 3 updates now. This is bad news, rare.
Hitreg has gotten worse for both Arena and Adventure, but more present in Arena.
Sword is super buggy on Arena. Sword dashes don't always show the animation, and i'm getting sword locked from a million meters away still.
Desyncing, massive frame drops, and huge ping spikes are a massive issue. And no, its not my PC or my internet as its well over the requirements.
Servers do not start with full lobbies all the time. It can sometimes take an hour to start the game with a full lobby.
PC players have opt out turned on and they cannot disable it as it is not in their settings.

    ARENA ITSELF

Honestly, you guys really need to redo Arena as a whole. Make the main focus PvP, not chest digging and running away. Make chests 500 points or just straight up remove them. Make cannons and kills give more points while having player sinks take more away. Make solo queuing a thing again for those who want to challenge themselves or hop for lobbies that aren't dead. Add brig arena to the picture. Make opt out actually work for xbox players and have them stop merging into my lobby and then immediately complaining about me being on PC. Make the servers more stable and stop the force merging that way people can get right into the action and there isn't any 24 minute disposable servers that seem to receive little care in any way, shape, or form.

  • The load times for arena matches are extremely long for the sloop and galleon. The easy way for them to fix this is to just add like a 5 minute start timer. If the game isn't full within 5 minutes of the first player loading into the server the game starts with however many people are currently in that server. Who cares if it leads to people playing solo which is mostly their fault for using open crew. Most of the time those players back out immediately which leads to maybe 2-3 crews left, 4 if lucky. It can allow easy wins if solo crews back out which Rare might see as a problem. However, I know that myself and probably many others would rather get an easy win than having to wait 20+ minutes for a game to start.

  • @frx-odyssey H1Z1 changed to this system and even though the game was declining in numbers at least games would actually start below the expected player numbers.

So long as there was another player in the lobby the game would start in 2 minutes (I think was the timer)

Much better system that way than 15+ minutes of standing around in the Tavern.
