    Dear Rare,

    As a Xbox captain i do miss the option to just type in chat.
    A PC player can just type a message. While im half stuck to the pirate wheel. It covers LOTS but not all.

    I would like to see an option to put in a message myself.

    Would be great!

    There is in settings enable chat text and give it a place on your controller i put it on press right stick then keys show on screen and you can type.

    If you use app on mobile you can connect and type on mobile and the text shows ingame

    @ruigtand-nl While I understand your wanting to help other pirates, this feature wasn't available a year ago, which was when this thread was created. Stick with the times, my friend! 😅
