Hey Rare, can we please get some more options for female skeleton pirates? It's surprising that there isn't at least one tattered up old dress option immediately available to be honest. Especially considering Tibia, the skeletal bartender in the Reaper's Lair is wearing a Reaper dress.

the age old problem... though i will say for how progressive of a company they are this seems like a glaring oversight. if i had to speculate the majority of the art team is male which is why it didnt cross their minds? and sadly with how rarely they add new hourglass and pirate legend cosmetics i cant imagine this being sorted for.... 2.5 years? actually kinda dumbstruck by this. i might be as guilty as rare themselves for not even noticing or it crossing my mind. i think this might be a more fundamental problem of just having gender specific clothing in the first place vs having the model display different based off the gender selection? like ive played games where armor looks different on men than it does on women, though sadly in those cases that female variation is made for men playing female characters so they can gawk at themselves. but then this games kinda about being able to do what ever the heck you want. nothings overly sexualized and a female model can throw on a glorious beard or moustache if she wants to just like a male can throw on a dress. then again though.. at females skeletons with the curse even different than males in this game? i imagine for simplicity sake they made them the same. you would think a heavy set pirate might have a bigger frame too as the "big bone thing" is actually sometimes partly true. males have longer thicker bones, males have larger rib cages and broader chests, pelvis area is the biggest difference though some of those bigger differences are covered by our pants. but the over all size would certainly be more noticeable.... i started adderall recently so i think that might be part of my recent fixation on deep diving into pointless things. like this dang show telling me an emp would kill a traditional flash light. theres no circuits in there! and emps dont kill alkaline batteries. come on show do some research. anyway... thats a lot just to say.... yes more female clothes.

Agreed. There definitely should be more options for pirates who want to look female. The outfits of Duchess, female skeleton captains, Red Ruth and als Warden Chi come to mind.
It's also ridiculous how for a long time, the only skirt was locked behind quiet a grindy commendation (sink 100+ Guardian ships while being a Grade 5 emissary). Luckily the Guardian part will be removed soon and we got another skirt with the "Flame Rises" and the "Reapers Rules" Updates. But there still should be more variety.
@RoboRob R66Y: Skeleton's differ by player actually. My character has wide shoulders, so his skeleton arms float while they are sticking closer to the torso on skinnier bodies.
Also: Shelley Preston has been Lead Designer at Sea of Thieves since 2019 and is Associate Design Director since late 2023. There also are several more talented female Devs in the art team. So it's less of a "boy's club" problem like with other studios in the past and more of a "we only have a limited number of cosmetics, so most of them are quite neutral.
