With the upcoming buff to all gun swap speeds giving them a 25% faster swap time, the sword will be left out to dry. I suggest bringing back a removed sword feature: Hitting the sword against the ground can cause it to combo. Why should I have to hit a player to be able to do a combo swing? If I want to waste a swing on the ground while I'm charging my opponent so I can hit him with the second and third swings when I'm finally in range, why can't I? This is a balanced feature because it requires you to look away from your opponent and wastes a swing or two from the combo, sacrificing damage for the ability to time hits. The second hit should still stun and the third hit should still have knockback. No other changes should be made to the sword aside from re-adding the ability for a sword to start a combo by hitting the ground.

With the direction the game seems to be going, you should be hoping they forget the sword exists completely.

@huibuh34 And we need to keep it that way. If they wanna buff guns swap times, they should buff the sword too to keep it OP. I joke, but on a more serious note, the sword is only as OP as it is because the game barely works. No one here denies how bad hitreg is. The sword would be a mid weapon if hitreg issues and gun jams weren't a thing.
