Equipment Glitch

Hi all! Been having a great time out on the water recently, but have been experiencing a rather weird glitch involving equipment (shovel, pocket watch, etc). Whenever I start up a game, for some reason my equipment is set to the equipment received from gaining reputation in the various trading companies. Specifically, my bucket is set to “Royal Sovereign”, my compass is set to “Sea Dog”, my Concertina is set to “Forsaken Ashes”, my fishing rod is set to “Killer Whale”, my lantern is set to “Notorious Souls”, my pocket watch is set to “Legendary Merchant”, my shovel is set to “Notorious Hoarder”, and my spyglass is set to “Notorious Merchant”. No idea why this happens, would strongly appreciate some investigation on this issue! :)
