I cannot find the Sand Battlegill

    I've spent 6+ hours recently at active forts in order to complete the battlegill commendations and after hundreds of casts and almost grade V on the rest of them I still am yet see a single sand battlegill.

    Is there a specific set of requirements I'm missing or I am just really really unlucky with RNG?

    After 4 hours fishing I found the sand battlegill.... in a barrel at a wreck

    I also need the sand battle gill. I’ve also been unable to snag a coral plentifin. And I very regularly check shipwreck barrels.

    Sand Battlegill is the rare variant of a mostly situational fish type. it really comes down to RNG if you'll get it or not.

    I remember rowboating out to an active fort one night and fishing for it specifically. took me at least half an hour
