The storage crate in the row boat.

    When the devils roar was introduced to the game we finally got the row boats which was very exciting to most players. however since that day one thing has always bothered me ( And some other players that i have played with) and that is the when you want to dump items into the storage on the row boat you have to open it with the X button but if your not looking at the storage just right 9/10 you just end up sitting on the bench insted.

    What i'm suggesting is just a small little quality of life change but i really think that having the storage be switched to the Y button and sitting the X on the rowboat would definitely be a nice change and time saver in a game that already drains a fair bit of time to play!

    Totally agree with this. When I try to bring loot off the rowboat, I end up sitting in it about half the time, especially if its a skull, gem or artefact.

    Isn't it Y to open a supply crate and X to pick it up? That's your precedent right there for why this is a good idea.

    That said, try switching weapons during a fight while standing on the back of the rowboat with this proposed change, and see what happens. 😋

    Until then, though, practice aiming for the lock - that usually does the trick. 😉👌

    @galactic-geek which is why weapon swap should be by default a different button. Fighting atop a ship only to hear the cannon loading sound for a second. Strikes panic into my pirates heart.

    @k1lroyw4sh3r3 I switched my settings so I could tap to pick up items instead of holding, and had to quickly adapt to not pressing Y at the back of the boat to switch weapons because I would accidentally, on multiple occasions, drop the rowboat into the surf while the boat was moving full-speed. The last time I did it was the funniest because I was able to quickly catch myself and double-tapped Y - seeing the boat go to the water and instantly back to the ship had me and a crewmate bawling with laughter. 😂

    Maybe make it so sitting down requires holding it and storage is just a tap
