Gamepass expired but I can still play the game.

    Hello everyone. I think this is important and I've been trying to let developers know so that it can be fixed. My gamepass for PC expired two weeks ago, but I didn't uninstall some of the games. I recently found out that I can still launch and play every single game on my PC through the official launcher, including Sea of Thieves (which is DRM protected). I can't install new games, obviously, because the launcher recognizes that I have no XGP subscription, but it doesn't stop me when launching games, for whatever reason.

    When did you start your XGP sub?

    Perhaps you inadvertently took up MS on their recent Ultimate upgrade, and maybe you're getting XGP until your Gold sub runs out?

    Check your subscriptions section on the MS website (or on console, just not as much info there)

    @baconwrappedsac I double and triple checked this. I am certain that I have no xbox gamepass access because the dates of the subscription on my account are exactly as expected.

    Btw, this is xbox gamepass for PC and I had no other MC subscription in the past, of any kind. I started my subscription on 18/6 for 1€ and immediately deleted my card information and the automatic renew just to be sure.

    Best thing to do is a report with microsoft itself as Rare has no control over this.

    Sounds like a bug as game pass is new to pc in its current format.
