obsidian rewards from twitch rivals

Hey Mods- any chance one could still get the rewards if they weren't connected right but watched the stream??

@pithyrumble i linked it 2 days ago didnt have any issues with that, honestly would be very discouraged if i didnt get it at all

I was surprised to find my ship livery and figurehead in my inventory after a couple of hours.

Make sure you guys linked twitch to sea of thieves...not just Microsoft/xbox.

I received mine.

@d3adst1ck unfortunately support will be no help, put in a ticket and they quit literally copied and pasted how to link my twitch account, who h tells me they never even read the ticket as I had done that 2 days prior. So if you expect some kind of help with this like they say they will give you don't be surprised by copy and pasted responses. I hold no hope of them actually resolving it and that will be the last twitch event I watch.

So I watched the whole stream yesterday bar 40 mins my account shows it was linked and gave me the unlink option however it appears after you link the account you need to keep progressing through pages till you accept t&c’s. I only realised this today thanks to comments on the twitch rival thread went in and sure enough my account has linked but there is a page after for t&c’ that had not been checked. After I did the t&c’s and watched 30 mins I got the sails immediately. So basically Rare could have made the steps very simple and made you agree t&c’s before the account would link but they haven’t. I’m sure a lot of people have now missed out and think it will magically appear in 72hours. How disappointing of Rare!

I watched 90mins yesterday and checked my account and nothing. I double-checked my SOT account to ensure it was linked to Twitch and seems I missed a step. I watched the stream today and was able to get the cosmetics. Is Rare able to help me out with yesterdays mishap or consider that not going to happen?

The problem is I have 2 other friends that have this very same issue. Everything was linked and twitch drops were allowed, we even double checked before the stream, this isn't as small a problem as some people think, they may have gotten their items which is great however the other folks who didn't feel douped into watching a stream. It's very unfortunate and the fact all 3 of us opened a ticket and both got the same copy and pasted response without them reading we had enabled twitch drops is not only upsetting but very poor customer support.

I did not get the second day loot even though I was logged in correctly and the account was linked as well.

So if like to update my post. After contacting support I was told I was not eligible for the rewards even though i had followed all the steps. 5 days later I log in to find all the ship livery and sails. If like to thank then for rectifying this.
