Dice and Card - But What Exactly? Lets Discuss!

  • So since release i hear a lot of "can we have dice and cards for gambling?".
Rare said they could, but they would give us only tools and we could find out how to play with them (one of the bad example were "lets roll the dice and 2 is sailing north" - how fun, huh?).
So first some Mechanics we need:
What we need is changing Coins between each other. Even if its not much.
It should be possible, that we can create a Pot without knowing the amount of Gold inside. Only after it is picked up by someone and let us only put X amount of gold out of the pot, so we can share the money between people.
Second, we need a Cup and Dice Ingame, so we can roll and hide the numbers.

So first, if they give us card to lay down we could play games like 21/Blackjack or simple other card Games. I would like too see a Interface for that, because i can't think of throwing them on the ground and look for the Cards. Maybe just let us sit on chairs and play on tables for example at Golden Sand Outpost.
The Cards should work a lot deeper than just holding other Items. First there is a deck of cards and the player with the deck is the Master.
    R - Shuffle Cards
X - Pick 6 Cards (One Card is always highlighted for pick) -> Interface changes
X again would Pick 1 Card
Numbers 1,2,3, would give other persons sitting next to you give 6 Cards or 1 card if they got already dealt 6 cards
Q and E while holding cards would rotate highlighted Card
    F - Play Card
R again would pick up all Cards and create a deck
ESC - Stand Up and End Game

    Now Dices
I know we can't play Monopoly or something but Captain Flamehearts Journal do have some nice Games for us
First of all, every game works with gamble and money bet:

    1. Cho-Han: One Player rolls the dice, the other have to guess if it will be odd or even. If they lose - DRINK
It should be a fast game, because the first vomits, loses. Mostly after the first Grog.
    2. Karnath: Two Player Game. The first Player starts to roll 2 Dices. The Goal is to reach a agreed total Number, like 100 or 500. The Player can roll as much as he wants, but if he rolls a total number of 7 (or other numbers for more thrill) he loses everything. If the Player rolls three doubles in a row, the points are doubled.
    3. Liars Dice: A Player rolls two dices, keeping it concealed. The Score is determined by using the higher dice as "tens" and the lower as the "units". A 5 and a 6 would be "65". The Player can then choose the honest score "65" or cheat and say something like "75" to get more points. The Opponent can challenge the the roll. If the Challenge is successfull the losing player must drink. If the declaration was accurat, the challenger must drink. If the other Player choose not to challenge, they must accept the score unseen. The first Player can now roll again, but has to declare a higher result than the one before.
    4. Betty: Every Player must put some Money in a Pot. Two dice are then rolled for one nominated player. That player then bets from the blue how much money is in the pot and if the next roll is higher or lower. If he guessed the roll right, he can remove the amount of money out of the pot. Is the guess wrong he has to add the amount of gold inside the pot. If the Roll is exactly the same before the pirate has to add double their wager to the pot and finish their drink. Money should be consideres here, because it can be hard to guess right.

Interesting. Cards seem kind of complicated, but a dice item/gold pouch item to exchange money would be cool.
