Shores of Gold area

  • Hi Pirates,
how many of you have completed all the Tall Tales?

My friends and I were very disappointed because we completed all the Tall Tales to unlock the "Shores of Gold" area on the map and nothing has changed. We were really convinced that by completing all the Tall Tales, the "Shores of Gold" area on the map would be unlocked and that there would be more "beautiful" islands than the islands that are on areas normally accessible and perhaps with a loot with a higher value , since the area is called "Shores of Gold".

We really played hard to complete all the Tall Tales and nothing changed at the end. We received 13,000 coins in all in the last Tall Tale, but with only one raid we can make 20,000 coins.

Our opinion is to unlock the upper right and lower left areas of the map for those who have completed all the Tall Tales and put different islands than the others.
It would make more sense to complete all the Tall Tales: if we had known before that nothing would have changed and that the areas would have been blocked in any case, we would not have even made them.

What do you think about unlock the Shores of Gold area after you completed all the Tall Tales?
    Let us know! :D

  • The point of the shores of gold is it's in the shroud and requires the shroud breaker to get to.

  • if you have the shroudbreaker unlocked the area is freely open, if you start the tall tale to get to the shores of gold, you can keep it going all session provided you dont defeat the gold hoarder, and you can do other quest while a tall tale is active

  • @norloc yes, but for what purpose? There is only one island in that area, they block an area so vast just for an island. It would make no sense to wander around that area if there is nothing else to see in the end. There is only one island dedicated to crypts and that's it.
