If you have the disc version of sea of thieves can you get it for free on PC if you were to switch platforms? or would you have the buy the game again?

@ninjashadow2 Ahoy mate,
I think the play anywhere feature only works for digital copies of the game. Which means if you own a CD version you'll only be able to play it on XBox.At least that was what the Support team answered me before the game release.
I did pre order the CD version and due to that changed to Digital version to be able to play it on PC as well.
