In-game voice chat on PC causes the game to crash

    This has gone on for a while, but we were not able to figure out what was causing it. Almost everyone thinks it is "ALT-tabbing" but it isn't... it was hitting ALT. I have moved my in-game voice off to another key and have found that I can ALT-Tab all day long, but now I crash when I try and respond to someone using in-game voice chat.

    This really needs to be fixed... out of the four (including myself) normally on our boat two of us crash almost every time we use in-game voice. We get less-frequent crashes if we try and type something in text chat.

    This really needs to be fixed ... I can't imagine that this is not more widespread.

    This was happening to my wife, and is now happening to a friend of ours.

    My wife opened a ticket a while ago and was told to locate the game in the installed apps section and perform a "reset". This solved her issue, but has done nothing for our friend.

    Been there, done that. Dunno...didn't help me. :(

    EDIT - Actually, just for the sake of thoroughness I am going to do it again...

    A couple hours ago, that friend I mentioned did a full re-install and that seems to have helped so far if that is an option for you

    @fluidsc But Then why dose it do it when i dont have my mic on push to talk or not using a mic at all. Or how its crashed when i hit windows to open the Xbox live app on pc
