You dont need the ship cannon for Shores of Gold

    As most people know in Shores of Gold tall tale there is a statue that you need to get to the lap of to go beneathe the island to get to Gold Hoarder. Did you know you can go up the path behind the statue sword lunge jump from the rocky cliffs to the back right and catch a small legde of the statue to get on the lap.

    You can also sword lunge jump from statue to statue to get the journal. This eliminates the need to set up the cannon. I have a video on this proccess on my xbox not sure how to get it here

    I would love to hear more about this. Doing Shores of Gold Solo means that you always have to leave your Ship where "jerks" can easily find it and sink it just to ruin your Tall Tales experience.

    @BlatantWalk4260 imho it i more easy to shoot oneself on the rock.

    1st time i need 2 shots, sometimes i need 5 maybe.
    I even managed to shoot me over to the rock before the one with the book with less than 10 tries.

    @ViperishEmu2992 doesnt the Ship respawn at Tribute Peak if you get sunk?

    @blatantwalk4260 getting video from XBOX isn't too tricky on a PC - you can either log in to your XBOX account through a web browser and copy the URL for the video, OR you can upload to something like OneDrive from your XBOX account and simply share from there as well by copying the embed URL into your post.

    However... it is always recommended to just include a link, rather than try to embed to external content just in case language used or anything else in the video could break the forum rules or the Pirate Code.
