A while back I unlocked the Ashen Fishing Rod, and I absolutely love the glowy bits, and the fact that the line glows, too.
The more I use it, the more I wish there was a Ghost/Legendary Fishing Rod. Obviously the overall design would have to be updated, but it would have the green glowy bits like the rest of the Ghost stuff has, including a green glowy line.
Maybe you have to be a PL to get it, and catch a certain number of trophy fish as a PL to get it?
I get the impression that the Hunter's Call faction may start incorporating types of active missions before long, and that would unlock a PL equivalent. When I say active missions, I mean something more along the lines of how merchant missions go (eg, collect 3 ancientscales, 2 plentifins and deliver to three paces east seapost by x time).
It could even be made more competitive-such as sending a message out to all the seaposts on the server at fixed times asking for the crews to deliver as many types of a certain fish in 5 days' time gets a large prize, secondmost gets a smaller prize. I feel like that's a more appropriate way to do commendations for HC, and it would be a great way to unlock new commendations/cosmetics.
