SUGGESTION - MINIMUM LEVEL TO PLAY ARENA - OPEN CREW

    SHORT STORY:
    Minimum Requirement of level 10 with the 3 first Trading Companies or 20 with at least 1 Trading Company to play Arena Mode OPEN Crew option. Could help people to play with players that knows how to play.

    LONG STORY:
    Many times i have tried to play Arena mode in an Random Crew like we do with any multiplayer game based on Teams. Many times i've found people that don't know how to play, trying to fish or learning things about the game.

    I understand that many new players come to the game to play with their friends for the first time with the option to play a Match Mode, but letting new players do it with Random people just makes it impossible to play.

    Minutes ago i was trying to play Arena and 1 of my Crew was FISHING.
    SERIOUSLY? Fishing in the middle of the battle?
    All other players just gave up and logged out because they noticed that it would be a waste of time to continue there.

    It is simple NOT possible to play Arena Mode with new players if they are not someone you know and has constant communication. You may say that the game has voice communication, but sometimes people don't talk the same language or is simple frustration to teach someone you don't know in the middle of the Match.

    So PLEASE, Update it URGENTLY to limit new players at the Open Crew option of the Arena. Let them play in Closed Crews, but NOT in Open ones.

    Maybe a minimum level 10 with the 3 first Trading Companies, or 20 with at least 1 Trading Company could guarantee that the player has sufficient knowledge of the game to play the arena with strangers.

    I have not seen any meat in the arena.

    Killed a shark and a snake, meat drops but can't interact with it.

    I have seen fools with poles out, but no fish.

    Gating low level content wont make much difference.

    I tried to fish once while the rest of crew was just standing there or taking the ship away from anywhere useful - got a hat.

    Minimum requirements could help. I would also add few miles sailed on the Galleon to the list so that they have at least a brief idea about the ship layout.

    To be consistent, perhaps we should also then implement a "minimum level of civility" to Adventure mode. Don't get to earn anything, buy anything or level up unless you have not killed someone in the last 10 minutes. ;)

    You say that likes you’re being sarcastic, when things like that and npc guards are exactly what the adventure mode needs to make the game more hardcore for those who play it as such anyways, and less stresful for those who are more casual.

    I'd rather there be casual and "ranked" matches.

    Maybe ranked matches require a certain level in a particular trading company and have penalty for leaving.

    Casual are just open to anyone and no punishment for leaving early

    @Jack-7BP i agree, only one of ten crews i get are good and have mics. the other nine are noobs, i also think noobs should get a tutorial on how to play arena and adventure. because it's just impossible to win when your teammates sail into the SHROUD! or they don't speak english. i may sound salty but let's be honest going open crew is terrible most of the time.

    Had the thought when they split x-box an pc, an make it a choice for x-box player to make
    Why should pc players not have the same option to rule out x-box players.
    Dont get me wrong, I love cross play.
    But both thing have nothing to do with arena.
    an for it to be fun an competitive, there need to be an rank mode for it to be succesful or some way that even team/players at getting march.

    Have also had been playing on a open crew with my friend.
    an sometime you just get that totally new player, that have no clue what they are doing or need to do. an more or less just ruin everything.
