Anyone noticed people boosting in arena?
Been in a couple of games now where two teams will race into a lead and then just sit next to each other at an island on 4000+ points each.

Easy, they can check the analytics of the individual players that were in the match. Positioning, inputs pressed, and when. This alone will inform them enough regarding whether or not teaming was involved or not.
Since they're already having "Issues" with the arena system it's high time they wipe all "Arena" related achievements and progress at this point, and make the rewards / reputation temporary.
Meaning you can equip any appearance you gain from this Arena PVP system for a short time and then its gone.
If you want to wear it again you need to go back and earn it again.
That should be how they handle this until they work out a system that's not so easily cheated.

Well, there's another presumption of innocence, isn't there? For instance, both ships would no longer have cannonballs and food... 🤓
@urihamrayne Yeah I'll admit I do need to improve and this post was written in a salty rage but I still think there's a point to be had.
I'm personally finding the open crew finder giving a pretty mixed bag of crews so when I'm already up against it trying to essentially run the galleon with 2 of us, this sort of thing is pretty frustrating (I know I know, I should get gud/get friends etc.).
There probably isn't a practical solution to this and I was mainly curious as to whether anyone else was having the same frustration. I'll put my pitchfork down now.

Yep, I have seen players asking other crews to invite their friends in so they can create an Arena Server Farm. Sure, feel free to do that in Adventure Mode, but not in a competitive game mode. I get it if you want battle it out with your friends and show who's boss, but farming Sea Dog Reputation like this is just pathetic in my book.
without a crew this mode is not that fun....and looking for a xbox group when i just want to play for an hour around isnt an option.yesterday i joined the tavern the match startet instant and i joined alone on a galleon...i waited 5 minutes no one joined,i left the game.sloop and brigs please.btw in arena server farm i guess everyone get first when they have the same points? just fix it maybe at same points the game should be go in extra time or that crew that sell the next chest win.
