So my audio issues seem to be recent. I will be using my headphones and can hear the game fine. As soon as I join someone’s party, however, the sound will disappear. I can’t hear any game sounds in my headset, or my TV. I can only hear the party chat. But if the party switches to game chat, I can hear the party and game sounds just fine. I don’t think it’s a balancing issue, as I can hear everything well if the party is in game chat. Is there something that I’m missing in my game/Xbox settings?
Audio Issues
It shouldn't have changed on its own, but I beleive there is a setting on your xbox that sets how much everything else gets "muted" when in party's. Like it will lower the volume of other stuff but keep party chat volume 100%. I believe at defualt it's at 0% so it does nothing. Maybe it got changed somehow to 100% for some reason. The setting is really there for people with headsets that can't change game volume AND voice chat volume separately. Check your xbox settings
