Give us more health on our ships!

  • Don't know if the Devs will read this, or if they read my other thing or if they read anything here, but i have a big suggestion.

    Give players more health, maybe 50% more when on their own ship. That way people don't board so much. The only times I've lost my ship is from people ramming Me and jumping on my ship. We've got one, maybe two people jumping, dropping our anchor and killing us while we are panicking and trying to not let our ship sink, then they just spawn camp us. The only choice we have is to scuttle the ship.

    I'm not saying remove boarding or anything, but make ship combat (cannons) more enticing. Make it if you board the enemy ship, you are at a disadvantage because they have more health than you, so you gotta be smart. You can just ram their ship and board them and spawn camp them

  • Dude.... you can't complain... that's the game, nothing more.

    You just have to train your PvP abilities like defending ladders, sailing well to don't face enemy canons etc...

    At least, don't let them get to you.

    You will be happy with anniversary update : Anchor/Mast can be broken, making canons more efficient and boarding easier ;P.

    When I read this, its sounds to me like your saying the only time you sink, is when players use a very basic form of combat that is prevalent in this game. At some point you reach a level of play that basic cannonfire just simply does not sink ships of a certain level. Basic ship recover is quite easy when you get properly coordinated. What you suggests gives players who might sink an unearned advantage to recover their failing ship. People just don't magically appear on a ship, learning the things to spot to know not only when a boarding will happen, but also how to defend it, is a skill all crews should learn.

    Our crew doesn't get boarded easily without a mountain of effort and strategy. What you need is to step up you ship defense, not an undeserved or unearned catch-up mechanic.
