What all can i use dabloons on? Right now i'm trying to go through my commendations to get more.
Looks like i can buy mercenary voyages, but i'm not sure what that's all about.
I was thinking about spending the rest of my dabloons on level ups for my other factions, is there anything else to consider?

If you're going to do that, save it for the 40s of each faction. They also usually have time limited cosmetics for doubloons, which are sadly locked behind mercenary voyages for this event@squattingturtle Dont do it!
Youll regret it, Duke the drunk person that you can find in every tavern dosent only give you gold or reputation.
Almost every event there are time limited cosmetics and you wont be able to get them again so i recommend you to save your dabloons.I would suggest only using your Dabloons above level 40.
Only use them on a faction that has just ticked up a level to avoid wasting progress.
Don’t level up one faction more than a couple of levels above any of your others. Otherwise you will hit L50 in that faction early and loot earned for it becomes pointless.
The mercenary voyages pay out a lot of loot and are well worth doing. See if you can get a Pirate Legend to buy them for you so you can save your dabloons. Pirate Legends have no use for Dabloons. I think I have about 400 of them.
Remember to put up your reapers mark flag before voting for the reaper of shipwreck bay voyage.
They give you more Dabloons than you need for cosmetics so don’t be afraid to use them.
I'll say dont use them on lvl's
the gold dabloons(money) an lvl can always be earned.
But you can only earn a limited nr of dabloons for dukes store.
for me, that gives them more value, an for events that are not locked behind mission to complete to get the new cosmetic, you can just go buy it right awayKeeping them are useless. You get enough of them when doing the commendations to buy the item anyways. Use them if your not maxed above level 40 or just use an on the gold.
don't be afraid to use them. Once the next DLC come out there's gonna be probably a ton of them to obtain no use on keeping them. You earn more then you spend on the limited cosmetics
@l-mrmoonlight-l But some of them are boring like the cargo missions they were boring and i couldnt force myself to get through them and second you are wrong, when Forsaken Shores dlc came out with the guns and the sails if you would have had all the dabloons it would still not be enough to buy all of them.
Unless you have a lot of them I would suggest saving them. That way if you have en event offering an item you want, but you do not have time in your life to complete the commendations, then you can buy the items without fear of missing out. And there is no reason to expect all future events commendations will offer enough doubloons to purchase what you want. I'd wait and not use them for levels or gold.
@ghostpaw I'd say keep yourself at about 200. that way you can always buy a time limited cosmetic. then for level ups I would only purchase levels 47-50.

yeah i get what you mean the missions to do are boring,
people do not have to hold onto 400+ Doubloons, the cosmetics aren't going to be higher then what you earn. there actually alot of extra to make with the commendations coming out, i just spent 300 i still have 95 exactly and i still have more commendations i never unlockedi get it people can buy the item when the dlc drops yeah thats fine, you can have enough to buy it. spend it on the gold if your Pl, nothing else much to do with it.
