I propose to add to the game new underwater locations with new bosses, such as Atlantis. Players can get a map of Atlantis with a small chance from Fort Skellet. after finding the map, the team will head to the adventure meeting. Atlantis or underwater ruins will be a huge location, but the problem is that if once a map of Atlantis is found, players will be able to merge into the network the place where it is located. We need to come up with something that would make the lacquer spawn every time in random places. So let's imagine the same ones, we found a map on the fort and are already sailing in search of Atlantis, but how do we get to a great depth while surviving, for this we need to remember the trick from the well-known movie where the team ran from side to side to turn it (It is important to add that such a focus will work only if one of the team members has an Atlantis map in their hands and at the same time it is above the spawn point). After the team turns the ship over the ship teleports to a separate location (Atlantis), we will be able to watch a dolphin or a Russkal that leads us to the beginning of the dungeon. Further, after passing the dungeon at the end, we will have to wait for a strong boss on the platform on which the harpoons will be, the crew’s task will be to shoot the harpoons at the sharks and beat the rest of the boss. after his murder we will have to wait for the treasury where there will be a legendary item that can be (SELL ONLY) and many more classic chests. We will have to transfer the skorovische to the broken boat that the Russalka will sail with, after interacting with her, she will transfer us, the broken treasure boat directly to our vessel. There may be a lot of mistakes in the text, I'm Russian sorry
Atlantis
You're touching on a good idea but go more in depth.
In the "lost city" there could be breathing pockets of air which you would have to navigate/ learn their locations in order to complete the quest. You might also be able to use a "potion of Atlantis" to double your breathing time in order to prolong investigation of the lost city. What traps await you? Are there mermen defending key points of the city? Can you ally with a certain faction of mermen that will help you get past a crucial stage of the quest (maybe they battle the city guards and eliminate them so that you have safe passage). There's so much you can add to this post!@kela1nru yes, as said by @Duke-of-Spire this is a cool idea that you just scratched the surface on. Please add more
@kela1nru I love the idea of random harpoons strewn throughout the city. At strategic points like on the wall towers. They will add a nice element to the lore of the city! Why are there harpoon towers? What great evil lurks in the darkness surrounding this wondrous place that they would need such weapons? A medusa maybe with her evil mermen and hammerhead sharks?😁 What do they seek? Gawd I could have so much fun with this!
So I really enjoy everyone’s idea, but maybe instead of just teleporting or forcing us away from our ship for so long only to die. Maybe have the city be under the sea and covered in ice. Here by allowing only certain pockets down to the ruins. Then having each pocket be a possibly dungeon location where you might find treasure after defeating skeletons waves or find a potion to make it so you can breath longer underwater. And have more difficult dungeons that require the breathing potions later down the road that will then give you more breathing potions to sell or use or even better loot. As well, I wouldn’t mind the cursed mermaid statues built into the wall, littering this location and forcing mermaids to attack you if you get close to the city. Like maybe a spear solder and a sword solder but maybe spawn rate will be a little lower as if that of a shark or gun powder skeleton to skeleton ratio. As well maybe bring in new skeleton types to match the area with kelp skeletons being the new bone skeleton for this area (common skeleton) and then bring in an ice skeleton that can only be damaged after you melt the ice with your lamp (similar to gold and water or shadow and light). As well maybe introduce a new skeleton lord to control a beast that once protected Atlantis but now plagues the icy seas. Then (borrowing from Atlantis:the lost empire) maybe have it lead to a new monster of the sea being a giant leviathan that looks like a giant lobster. Have it’s attacks be where with one hand it grabs onto your boat causing 1 hole and then with the other claw it bashed on the deck a few times (more holes) before retreating. Then have it also include a beam blast that it will rarely fire that will cause 2 holes. And maybe have it be more quiet and slick than the meg where you only see an occasional blast of water come up to show its location instead of being like a meg on the surface, so you would have to shoot into the water unknowingly. But maybe use those harpoon towers or the harpoons on your ship in order to hook onto the leviathan so you know where it is at all times. Then once beaten, you then find out where the skeleton lord is and go to a cursed sails event in order to battle him and his fleet. (By the way, I was also thinking of adding in some concepts or ideas from the frozen fangs dlc idea as detailed on another site. It’s an interesting thing to look up so if interested go for it). But still so far it sounds great! And I hope you can elaborate this into a forum dlc and post it everywhere.
