I saw alot of posts a year ago about unsinkable ships. Most are met with the criticism of aiming at the wrong spot or something. looking into the other ships barrels to steal wood and sink them faster i found out they had 0 planks. So i told my crew to wail on them we fired about 40 balls into their ship taking massive damage to do so knowing they would sink. Seems they Cant sink. none of them went below deck as far as we could see and they still float. We thought foul play may be an issue at this point so to test we went after them with 3 more ships! They never ran out of cannonballs, or wood despite me seeing they had no wood and 35 cannonballs. Very fishy.
Unsinkable Ships return to the seas
an extremely cooperative enemy crew can make it extremely difficult to sink ships. sometimes to the point where they only seem unsinkable.
luckily, Rare is extending ship damage.
