I've wanted this in the game since launch and have posted it before.
When you run out of ammo with a flintlock you would flip the gun around and be able to swing it like a club. It would allow for a way to do minimal damage but would stun a player like the venom effect without the damage over time.
Only usable when the weapon is out of ammo. Reloading would cancel.
Either that or give us a belaying pin to have on our pirate at all times that is a club that does the same.
And also allows us to drop sails all at once by holding the button down on the clew (like dropping an anchor)
