Lucky day?

First of all I’d like to say I love this game with all my heart. #SoTFTW
OK so here’s the story: I joined on a galleon and made an alliance with another galleon. This alliance was a golden alliance, you know like the ones where everyone wants to play fair and square. So, we were on separate Athena’s fortune voyages and planned to meet on Morrows Peak. We completed our voyages, got the legend chests and reunited in the outpost. As we were waiting for the other galleon, I spot a pirate swimming with a legend chest all by himself. I didn’t want to kill him because I know how hard it is to get this kind of chests. But all of a sudden, BAM! He vanished. I thought he just died or something, so I waited like 3 mins, but nothing. So I took the chest and sold it, together with the other 2. After that, we had some grog, music and jokes and stuff on the voice chat. I hope that the pirate who vanished lives forever and I thank him
