Stronghold Key did not drop

    After i killed the boss from the skull fortress it for some reason did not drop the Stronghold key. does anyone know what happened?

    Blowing up a Skeleton Captain near structures is usually a bad omen. Chances are big the key got stuck somewhere in the scenery.

    I blew a captain up with a gunpowder barrel once on the first floor of the fort and the key ended up on the second floor.

    @lt-swag-johnson yup, ive seen the skellys get stuck in rocks too which many others have seen also, when its captain time we bring him out to the open grass/ sand/ water and boom... or just slice him up.

    When a captain dies on top of a small rock or sand dune, the key will sometimes drop under the top of the dune or rock. You can't see it but if you stand in the location and hover over it you'll see the skeleton key name and you just pick it up.

    The thing is you never went to where the captain died.....

    Happend me many times in the past, like someone said...blowing up a skellie in on a ramp or anything rocky usually gets it glitched....atleast from my own experiance.

    After watching this clip i noticed you didn't even look in the spot where he died or in the water if front. You went up to the rock but you turned right around and looked in the same spot multiple times

    The key should be in the layer of rock, first time I see n it disappear in the open
