Fishing in the Devil's Roar

  • Who else is excited for fishing in the DR? Lord knows we have plenty of time waiting on these volcanoes. You can knit a sweater waiting for one of those things to quit.

  • If the fish isn't cooked by the time you reel it in when you are fishing next to an active volcano with boiling water.. I will be disappointed.

  • And what you catch might already be fully cooked by the time you reel it in.

  • I for one cannot wait for fishing. I'm so hoping we see;

    Fish rarity.
    Unique fish per-region.
    Unique fish per-time of day/month.
    Fishing book to log our captures (catch 'em all-esque).

    Super excited.

    My thoughts exactly!

  • @kaloudz Maybe even fish specific to islands at specific times only riddled through the titles they unlock. An example of a title might be
    The Night Lurer
    To unlock the title you would have to catch a rare fish that only spawns in Crescent Isle bay in the middle of night.
    Just 1 example of what could be done!
    The hype is real!

    So hard to look at your gamer tag and not smile. That was my high school nickname lol

    Love your idea there, that’s epic! Honestly my friend, I’m a sucker for fishing and anything “catch ‘em all” in games. Be it FF XV, Animal Crossing or anything alike, I’ve always loved that side activity.

    I’ll be gutted if fishing is merely a means to supplement cooking. I need all of the above lol

  • Aye, something more to do while quietly waiting is going to be a real gift! I hope there's some painful puns you can shout via quick chat when holding different fish, that was half the fun in Animal Crossing for me. ;)
