allow players to either win, purchase with gold and doubloons, or award players with unique cosmetics to personalize Their Own ships' crest and submit a name for approval. this would give players a chance to identify reputable pirates based off their ship load outs and name of the ship, especially if they live long enough to board anothers vessels and see their crest. this creates tales from crew to crew who have been able to sail amidst the crew of the ".. Ship Name" and uniquely detailed crest.

@flintlock-avery Rare would have a hard time going through all the requests of names but I feel you. Maybe once you reach PL or something.
I always thought it could be a random name or you get to choose for example:
The black pearl
The black pig
The jolly Rodger

@flintlock-avery No it should only be reserved for captaincy. Past pirate legend players are supposed to become legendary captains and get unique ship models not just skins. This is when you own your ship and it should be added then. Currently were all sailing ships nobody owns.
