Y'all ever thought about having like a simple piece of paper nailed to the ships somewhere listing every item you have on your ship, in which quantity and that tells you the total amount of money you'll make out of selling said items? Making it update itself automatically too? I dunno, seems like something that would be quite simple to add and make our lives easier. It ain't much, but its always nice to know exactly how much stuff you have without having to check every single barrel. Also just being able to know the exact total you'll make off of your loot would be nice. Again, it isn't much, just quality of life improvement I guess.
Loot list?
@zourk4 it’s a stretch for a qol update. You can do this piece of paper in the real world, but magic paper that counts loot is a bit strange. I’d think it’d be funny to have a keg added on to the list when you check the list and hear explosion to find an enemy boarded your ship.
@weststormborn well yeah obviously you CAN do it in real life, but again, just quality of life and you cant really know the amount of money you'll make when selling and it would allow to keep better track of whats on, like if you had a stronghold chest on board and then gone outta nowhere youre just like welp.... sh*t, but still kinda funny. I think itd be cool to add, personally. And the magic part... I mean... cmon, theres living skeletons in the game, I feel like magic paper wouldnt change much to the lore, plus the riddles are already kinda self updating
@zourk4 Magic accounting paper? Yeah, that sounds like a thing. The "there's skeletons and magic riddles" - things that are common in pirate fantasy lore, doesn't mean that magic accounting paper should be a thing. There is a variable for loot value - turning in two captain's chests will give you two different values, so it doesn't make sense to give that tabulation. Basically, there's no need for this.
