Stuck on black screen forever

    Just a few moments ago I was doing a Skull Fort solo. Everything was going good, no ships on the horizon, fast clearing waves. Then I die to some blunderbuss skellies shooting me in the face, and then I get stuck in black screen forever. Waited a few minutes, then Alt + F4 'cause nothing was happening. I heard the sounds of the ferry, even the sounds of other pirates waiting to leave it. But I couldn't. Looks like the Ferryman will not allow me to return to the world of the living anymore x)

    @stormfox57 This has been an ongoing issue ever since this game launched and I am shocked it hasnt been fixed yet.

    I do come across this on occasion

    I've been playing since beta and this never happened to me before lol

    Happened to me multiple times in every kind of loading screens since the last update.

    It's a weird bug, a friend of mine has this problem a lot, especially since the last update. I've never encountered it, other friends have also never had this problem.

    This person is gone from the crew as soon as he's in this loading screen, this tells us that he's been dropped the moment this happens. ( we want to vote him to the brig to trigger another loading screen but as this happens he's no longer in the crew so we can't brig vote him).

    It's annoying and I hope there's a fix incoming for this, but I can understand that this problem requires some feedback so please report a bug trough the support system on this site so Rare can compile the info and make a case for this.

    In that instance, ask a trusted friend to join so that you can re-logg into the game. You'll lose your cursed cannonballs but at least not the server.

    @stormfox57 i had this happen to me the other day. i was black screened, the wheel was turning, could hear the ferry of the damned noises, but i would not load into the ferry. Had to leave the game and join back in again.
