Whenever we do a ship cloud battle and a crew member joins us they get stuck in a black screen. You can see their naked character and can talk to them but can't do anything.
How to fix it
Lock them into a brig, they will then be able to see, but they will be naked and have 0 options on their wheel. After the brig lets you free them, do so, they will still be naked and without items. Have them go out and die, we usually get them to drown themselves or better yet run a keg over to one of the ships. When they come back they will be clothed and fully functional.
This has been going on since SP first launched. When it happened to me, I had logged during a ship battle because I had the graphic bug (for the first time) and when I came back I was naked, after a few tries of trying to load in I had them brig me, so at the time I thought both bugs were related and classified them as 1 bug. I did submit a bug report but it's been over a month so I thought I would tell people the work around as this has happened to us every time we have a new crew member log in. It seems it doesn't matter if the player is PC or Xbox.
