Character Model Change

lol this topic happens 3 times a day it seems, what i think they should do is allow us to create multiple pirates, and allow us to actually create our characters instead of randomly generate them

@ultmateragnarok its about aesthetics mate, and its supposed to be your character, its hard to make a perfect character when you have to randomly generate it. it makes it really hard to create the character that they actually want, people come to hate certain things about there characters, and they cant do anything because if they delete their pirate they lose everything. me i have deleted 2 pirates, they were driving me crazy cause i hated the way they were. everytime i have created a character it was 2 hours of trying to find what i want then being like f#*k it il just pick this one cause i cant be bothered to keep looking.

I and many others do want to see an option to do a pirate change. I'm slowly starting to getting dull with my pirate and his physic, so I want to get another one WITHOUT DELETING ALL OF MY PROGRESS.

I can confirm, a buddy of ours is a big Pirate... we all make fun of him.

This is something simple and basic in any game, can't really understand why RARE does not provide us with the option.

@eva1977 Because, I think for some answers in streamings and interviews and the artbook itself, that they have a plan to let our characters to get old or rejuvenate with potions or cursed stuf like, in devs words, "fountains" or similar. For that, they created the IPG that is not only a randomiced character creator but instead a tool to let the SAME character look old or young, keeping their personality (just like a real person, that no matter the age, looks like the same person with different age).

The problem is that they didn't think that people could get tired of the pirates they chosed (a very big fail imho) and there should be a problem in how the IPG is integrated with the acount progression or something, or, maybe, despite the continuous requests, they still think that this is a niche feature and very few people need it. Whatever, Joe Neate confirmed in a streaming that they heard the feedback in this regard and, despite not in their current roadmap (if I remember, was after Cursed Sails), (the ipg reroll) was a feature that they want to introduce in the future.

So, if I'm correct, maybe when they introduce some form to getting old or rejuvenate, they're going to let all the people a (or more) reroll in the IPG. But this is speculation, who actually knows...
