Question on crossplay

    Hey so my friend was thinking about getting SoT, me and my other pal play on Xbox and thought maybe to give our crew and edge in PvP our third should get the game for PC.
    Does anyone know how the crossplay works for partying up with Xbox players? Do you need windows 10 just to play SoT etc?

    @drakebg757 Sea of Thieves on PC requires Windows 10.

    When starting a game you can 'Invite Friends' to your crew. You just need to be friends on Xbox Live.

    Last PC I had was running windows 95 lol, we have a PC player on the crew though, wouldn't have it any other way, they can definitely join Xbox parties and the like fine, plus the big advantage is they can talk to people in game whilst remaining in the party so the Xbox lads can make a sneaky plan whilst the PC guy plays ambassador

    In order to function with the Xbox crowd, you need the Xbox App. This will allow you to join xbox parties, as well as their games. Also tell them they don't have to switch between game and party chat. They are in both always.
